Two days training and interaction programme for the High school teachers

Chtihra Don Bosco in collaboration with Nisarga Child Rights Club Federation and BREADS Bangalore organised and executed a two days training and interaction programme for the High school teachers of various Government Higher Primary schools of Chitradurga District along with the members of the CHILD RIGHT CLUBS from the various Government schools of the District. The inaugural function which commenced at 10.30 am was chaired under the able guidance of Rev. Fr. Varghese Pallippuram, the Rector and Manager of Don Bosco Chitradurga. He invited the participants as well as the resource personnel present to give the due importance to the concept and Rights being a watchword for everyone we need to learn the basic concepts of the same. District Child Protection officer Miss. Vaishali Madam inaugurating the day interacted with the children and praised the efforts of Chithra Don Bosco and exhorted everyone present to make every effort possible to see that all of us enjoy every Right and allow others to enjoy their rights. The occasion was also graced by the presence of Mr. Prabhakar, CWC Chair person, Mrs. Margaret Sampath, Resource person for the two days for the Teachers, Dr. Deepak from Sri. Basaveswara Hospital, Chitradurga, Mr. Shanthappa, Head master of Government Higher Primary school, Gunderi, Master Obalesh and Kumari Kaveri, representatives of the Child Right Club members. The Preliminary introduction for the day was given by Fr. Sonychen Mathew the Director of Chithra Don Bosco. The whole programme evolved as a result of the hard work and efforts of the CREAM staff under the able guidance of Mrs. Veena, Coordinator and others. Soon after the Inauguration the Children were accompanied to the hall for their session by Dr. Deepak and the teachers would be taken care by Mrs. Margaret Sampath from SICHREM, Bangalore.
