On 19th of July 2021 Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga under the aegis of BREADS Bangalore held a training workshop on Sheep rearing and exposure visit for SHG members at Sambram Agro Tech Farm, Bidarikere, Hiriyur Tq, Chitradurga Dist. Mrs. Purnima Srinivas (MLA of Hiriyur) inaugurated the programme. Then she addressed the programme and said that the role of women in all fields are immense. People of the past reared sheep and goat and still doing it. I wish you also have a development in it. Rev. Fr. Joseph (Director of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga), Mr. K T Srinivas (Sanbram Agro Tech, Bidarikere), Dr. Thipprswamy (Asst. Director, Bengaluru Sheep development Corporation, Chitradurga), 50 SHG members and Chithra staff members were present for the same.
