CHITHRA Don Bosco – Three-Day Capacity Building Workshop for Women Beneficiaries

CHITHRA Don Bosco successfully organized a three-day Capacity Building Workshop under the WELivE Project for women beneficiaries

The workshop was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Arun Chemplanikal SDB, Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco. The programme focused on leadership, SHG strengthening, group dynamism, conflict management, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, savings, digital banking, cyber safety, mental health and government schemes.

Mrs. Anthony Theresa A, Ptogramme & Communication of CHITHRA Don Bosco, conducted the sessions on leadership, group dynamism and conflict management. Ms. Rakshitha conducted interactive activities to improve concentration, focus, coordination and quick reaction skills. Mr. Murali, Financial Literacy Counsellor in Canara Bank, provided training on financial management and entrepreneurship, while Mr. Chethan Kumar created awareness about savings, financial planning, digital banking and cyber safety.

Mr. Divakar conducted a session on mental health and concentration through the engaging “You & Me” activity. On the third day, Mr. Yogesh, NRLM Project Officer, provided information about education, MGNREGA employment opportunities, food security and various government schemes.

The workshop provided a valuable platform for women to learn, share experiences, develop new skills and strengthen their confidence for a better future.
