69th All India Cooperative Week 2022 (from 14th November to 19th)

On 15th November 2022 CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga held a meeting for SHG members at CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga. Mrs. Dilshad Unnisa (Panel Advocate, District Legal Service Authority, Chitradurga) was the chief guest of the programme. Rev. Fr. John Paul SDB (Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga),  Mrs. Anthony Theresa (Programme Coordinator of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga), Mr. Sannaningappa (SHG Field Officer of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga), Mr. Somalingappa (SHG Field Officer of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) and Mr. Jayanna (SHG Field Officer of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) participated in the meeting. Mr. Somalingappa accorded a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and all the participants.

            Fr. John Paul said that the cooperatives for Youth, Women, Weaker Sections and Health. And also said that the celebration provide an opportunity to directing societies to uphold their achievements and develop the co-operative movement. It is also an occasion to build up awareness about cooperatives at all levels of the society, specially the benefits of cooperatives in solving the socio – economic problems of our country. This year National cooperative Union of India is organizing 69th All India cooperative week with the main theme “India@75: Growth of Cooperatives and Future Ahead”.  And also shared the subjects  which were discussed with the founder of FAMCO Rev. Fr. Antony Swamy.

            Mrs. Dilshad Unnisa took the session about legal awareness for the women. she said that you are always indebted to the FAMCO society because you are getting great benefits of loans from  this. Use the loans for income generating activities then only you will get sustainable income. And explained in detail about, what kind of legal action can be taken if the loan is not repaid on time.
