World Environment Day 2026

On the occasion of World Environment Day, CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga, in collaboration with Government Higher Primary School, DS Halli, organized a sapling planting programme on the school premises at DS Halli village, Chitradurga.

The programme aimed to create awareness among students about environmental conservation and the importance of planting trees for a greener and healthier future.

Rev. Fr. Chemplanikal Arun (Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco), Mrs. Rathnamma (Headmistress of Government Higher Primary School, DS Halli), assistant teachers, Mr. Jayanna ( staff member of CHITHRA Don Bosco) and students of the school were present for the programme.

During the programme, saplings were planted across the school campus, and participants were encouraged to take responsibility for nurturing and protecting the environment.
