FOSTER CARE- THE NEED OF THE HOUR.

On 18th August 2020 Mr. Manjunath (Foster Care crew of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) gave the information on Foster Care for three different places that is for the officer and staff members of the Special Juvenile Police Unit of Chitradurga District, Rural Police Station, at District Rural Police Station, Chitradurga and for women of two various SHGs at Medehalli. He gave the information about the adoption and parenting scheme, implemented in 10 districts of Karnataka to provide alternate family care for children under 18 who are considered poor and are without the proper care of parenthood and he explained that this process is legal. He told to inform if there were orphan children in the district or families who wanted to be adopted. And also he informed the legal rules for adoption. He requested to contact the Staff members of the organization if the children or families who would like to receive parental support.
