Enforcement of the role of Stake Holders in child protection committee……

Breads Bangalore and Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga held the District Level Officers and Stake Holders meeting on 29th June 2021 at Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga about Child Protection Committee. Rev. Fr. Joseph Director of Chithra Don Bosco, who spoke an introductory speech and said foremost about the work done by Chithra and the purpose of the meeting. Then Dr. Nandini Devi (CEO, Zilla Panchayat, Chitradurga) said about the seriousness of Covid -19 and said the third wave of Covid -19 is most likely to affect children, it should be avoided by maintaining a social distance, by wearing a mask and sanitizing the hands and also do not miss to get Vaccinated Social service agencies, Anganawadi workers and Asha workers need to work to create an awareness among people in rural areas against Covid-19. And can only be avoided if government rules are followed. “There are many problems faced by Children during this Covid -19 pandemic. It is our responsibility to solve the problems of the children and protect them.” Mr. Vishwa Sagar (Director of Damma NGO, Chitradurga) who was the resource person of the meeting, spoke about Child Labor. Then the group discussion held on the problems and solutions of the children. Fr. Saji George (Director of Don Bosco Institutes, Chitradurga), Rev. Fr. Joseph (Director of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga), Directors from other organisations, Panchayat development officers, HM’s and Asst. teachers,, Asha Workers, Anganawadi Workers, Members of the Self Help Groups, Youths and Children and staff members of Chithra Don Bosco participated in the meeting.
