Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much

Don Bosco ICSE School, Chitradurga and CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga held a wonderful community service program on December 4th, 2023, at Govt. Higher Primary School, Kasavanahalli, Chitradurga. Rev. Fr. Vijay Martin (Principal of Don Bosco ICSE School, Chitradurga), Rev. Fr. Steven Lawrence (Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga), Mr. Shivakumar (HM of Govt. Higher Primary School, Kasavanahalli), GP members Mrs. Bharathi & Mrs. Lakshmi, and SDMC President Mrs. Sudhamani were the esteemed guests.
The program commenced with a prayer song performed by the students of Don Bosco ICSE School, setting a positive and spiritual tone for the community service activities.
Rev. Fr. Vijay Martin addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of a generous heart and highlighting the significance of social service.
Students from both Don Bosco ICSE School and Govt.Higher primary school did cultural activities.
An interactive session among the students fostered communication and collaboration between the participants .

ICSE students contributed to the community by distributing study materials to the students of Govt. Higher Primary School, Kasavanahalli, enhancing educational support.

Teachers from both schools, CHITHRA staff member Mr. Jayanna, SHG members, villagers, and a total of 140 students were present for the same.
The day concluded with a delicious meal.
