On 8th  of April 2021 Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga held a Taluk level ADVOCACY meeting  with the Child Development Planning Officer at CDPO office, Hiriyur.  First Mr. Mahanthesh (Cream crew of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) gave an official welcome to everyone.

            Rev. Fr. Sonychen Mathew  the Director of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga  explained about Chithra Don Bosco and its projects and the various activities. He said about Child Protection Committee and its concept and also he said that there must be a CPC at panchayath level but it also should be proactive.

            Then Mrs. Veena (CREAM Coordinator of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) gave the information about Child Protection Committee and Makkala Gram Sabha and its concept.

             Mr. Manjunath  (Cream crew of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) gave the information about the systems of departments, Role of PDO’s, RTE and 3rd phase of the CREAM project. And also said about status of the children, Child marriage, Child Help Line -1098, Child Welfare Committee, JJB,  Foster Care and Adoption.

            Mrs. Bharathi (WE CAN coordinator of Chithra Don Bosco, Chitradurga) said about Women Empowerment, Legal Awareness, Health and Protection of the women, Self Reliance, POCSO act, Prohibition of Child Marriage act, free legal service and prohibition of atrocities on women act. she also mentioned about the great service done by the DLSA.

            Mrs. Kamalkshi (ACDPO, Hiriyur) said that they need the coordination of the NGO for the work. And also said that if we work together for the children we can achieve the good result.
