Mental awareness at Sri Maruthi Rural High School, Belagatta, Chitradurga….

On 15th January 2025, CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga, in collaboration with BREADS Bengaluru, organized an awareness program on mental health at Sri Maruti Rural High School, Belagatta village, Chitradurga. The session was facilitated by Mr. Shreyank, Coordinator of the MINDS Project at CHITHRA Don Bosco. The program commenced with a brief emotional activity designed to engage the children and create awareness about mental health. Following this, Mr. Shreyank provided an informative session, elaborating on the concepts of general health and mental health. He also highlighted the adverse effects of excessive mobile phone usage and its consequences on the overall well-being of children.
