Empowering Education: CHITHRA Don Bosco’s Rally Against Child Labor

On June 6, 2024, CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga, organized a rally focused on “Shale Kade Nanna Nade” and the prevention of child labor at the Government Higher Primary School, IUDP Layout, Chitradurga. The event commenced with Mr. Faiyaz, the Headmaster of the school, inaugurating the rally by beating a side drum. He addressed the children, emphasizing the significance of the rally. Dc. Anthonyraj Sdb, Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco, also addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of education and the prevention of child labor. Throughout the rally, children chanted slogans advocating for the prevention of child labor and promoting the “Shale Kade Nanna Nade” initiative. The event saw the participation of assistant teachers, CHITHRA staff members, and 50 children.
