Awareness program for SHGs’ members

On 27th July 2024, CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga, conducted an awareness program at Govt. Higher Primary School, Chikkenahalli Village, Chitradurga. Forty women were provided with information about entrepreneurial activities. Mrs. Sharadamma Nagaraj, a member of the Gram Panchayat, addressed the gathering and spoke about the aim and concept of the Self Help Group. Mr. Mahantesh, a staff member of CHITHRA, was the resource person for the program. He addressed the women and explained that they would be empowered through entrepreneurial training in areas such as jobs, dairy farming, mushroom farming, vegetable trading, and fruit trading.
