Women Entrepreneurship and Government Schemes Training

On 15th September 2025, CHITHRA Don Bosco in collaboration with Gnana Jyothi Federation of Women Self Help Groups organized a training programme for the members of the Women’s Self Help Groups at G.R. Halli village, Chitradurga district.

Mr. Mahanthesh, a staff of CHITHRA Don Bosco, provided detailed information on entrepreneurship and government schemes. He explained the various welfare schemes available through different government departments and corporations, the procedures to avail benefits, and the possibilities of securing loans to start small-scale enterprises. He emphasized that by establishing enterprises, women can achieve economic and social empowerment, thereby contributing to their overall development.

Mrs. Shyamala, President of Gnana Jyothi Federation, and Mr. Srinivas, NRLM Manager of Taluk Panchayat, along with the federation secretary Mrs. Leelavathi and a total of 60 women members actively participated in the programme.
