“Strengthening Child Welfare: Understanding the Foster Care System”

On 21st September 2024, CHITHRA Don Bosco conducted a training session for Asha Workers at Muthugaduru village, Holalkere Taluk, Chitradurga. Mr. Manjunath, Foster Care Mobilizer of CHITHRA Don Bosco, led the session, during which he provided detailed information on the aim and concept of Foster Care. He focused on the importance of providing care, protection and support to children in need of foster homes and explained the procedures for identifying and helping such children through the Foster Care system.
