“Renewal of Commitment: Don Bosco Youth Membership Day 2025”

On 1st September 2025, Don Bosco Youth Services, in collaboration with CHITHRA Don Bosco, organized the Membership Day Program to renew the membership of the youth group. During this occasion, several senior members continued their journey, while many new members enthusiastically joined the team.

The program commenced with a prayer song led by the new youth member, Miss Rakshitha. This was followed by a warm welcome address delivered by Dc. Anthonyraj, Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco. The inauguration was done by Rev. Fr. Praveen Maria, Director of Don Bosco Youth Services, Chitradurga, who delivered the inaugural address. In his speech, he motivated the youth with the inspiring words of St. John Bosco: “Walk, run, jump, but do not commit sin.” He further encouraged the members to serve society through this platform while simultaneously nurturing their personal growth and development.

Following the address, Fr. Praveen Maria engaged the youth in an ice-breaking activity, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and participation. This was succeeded by cultural performances, where the talented youth members showcased their skills on stage.

Subsequently, the election of local youth group leaders was held. Mr. Daniel was elected as the President, Miss Akanksha as the Secretary, and Miss Amulya as the Treasurer of the youth group.
