Inaugural ceremony of reopening of the study centers

CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga, organized the inaugural ceremony for the reopening of the evening study centres at Kalkunte and Kodagavalli villages on 8 June 2026.

The event was graced by Rev. Fr. Arun, Director of CHITHRA Don Bosco, Chitradurga. He warmly welcomed the children and encouraged them to make the best use of the study centres for their academic growth and personal development. Fr. Arun taught an action song to the children, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Arun highlighted the importance of evening study centres in supporting children’s education, improving learning habits, and providing a conducive environment for study. He encouraged parents to motivate their children to attend the study centres regularly and make sincere efforts in their studies.

Books were distributed to the students who scored good marks in the previous academic year, recognizing and rewarding their hard work and achievements. To further inspire the students, Fr. Arun also announced that medals would be awarded to those who score good marks and maintain regular attendance at the study centres in the current academic year.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the teachers, parents, villagers, and students for their participation and support. The tuition teachers, children, parents, and villagers, who gathered enthusiastically to mark the beginning of the new academic year at the study centres.
